We built our name on emergency roof protection. Now we're bringing the same approach to rising water. The DPALEX Flood Barrier is a modular, reusable panel system that lets you put a flood line exactly where you need one, in minutes, with no tools and no sandbags.
The problem with sandbags
Sandbags have been the default for a century, and anyone who's actually used them knows why people dread it. They're heavy, they're slow to fill and place, they leak at every seam, and when the water recedes you're left with a pile of contaminated bags to dispose of. When a storm is hours away, you don't have an afternoon to spend shoveling sand.
What the DPALEX Flood Barrier is
Each barrier is a rigid panel made from injection-molded ABS with built-in support ribs, the same engineering approach used where plastic has to hold up under real pressure. Panels stand 28 inches tall and protect against up to 27 inches of rising water. Each one measures 28"H x 33"L x 39"W with 5 mm walls, and they're UV-protected so they won't degrade or fade sitting out in the sun.
How it works
The design does the work for you, in three ways:
- Panels link into a wall. Built-in Quick Connect locks join barriers edge to edge, so you can run a continuous line across a driveway, a storefront, a garage door, or a whole parking lot. Add panels to extend the line whenever you need to.
- Foam seals keep water out. Sealing strips along the underside and sides create a tight seal with the ground and between panels.
- Rising water makes it stronger. As the water comes up, its weight pushes the barrier down and out, which presses the seals tighter. The flood itself reinforces the wall holding it back.
Deployment takes minutes, not manpower
There's nothing to fill, nothing to fasten, and no tools required. Each panel takes about 1 to 2 minutes to place and lock, so a typical entryway is protected in around 5 minutes. When the water recedes, hose the panels off, let them dry, and stack them. They store flat in a garage corner, a trailer, or a jobsite container until the next event.
Who it's for
Homeowners protecting garages and entryways. Businesses that can't afford days of water damage and cleanup. Municipalities and response teams that need barriers they can stage, deploy fast, and reuse season after season. If you've ever stacked sandbags in the rain, this is for you.
Common questions
How much water can it hold back?
Each panel stands 28 inches tall and provides reliable protection against up to 27 inches of rising water.
Do I need any tools or hardware?
No. Panels connect with built-in Quick Connect locks and seal against the ground on their own. Setup and takedown are entirely by hand.
How many barriers do I need?
Measure the opening or perimeter you want to protect. Each panel is 33 inches long, so figure roughly one panel per 3 feet of run. Barriers work as a connected line, so orders start at 5 panels. For large perimeters, pallet quantities, or agency orders, request a quote and we'll spec it with you.
Are they reusable?
Yes. Rinse them off after use, let them dry, and stack them for the next event. UV-protected ABS is built to last through repeat deployments.
