FAQs

Please read our FAQ page to find out more. We have tried to answer the most common sheeting product questions on this page.

Is this the same type of sheeting used in FEMA’s BlueRoof program?

Our sheeting meets the material specifications outlined in FEMA and USACE temporary roofing programs and is used by contractors and agencies responding to federally declared disasters.

How long can this sheeting remain installed on a roof?

When properly installed, our sheeting is designed to last for months to years—depending on environmental conditions—without tearing, sagging, or breaking down.

Is the sheeting fire retardant?

Yes. Select models meet Class A flame spread and smoke index ratings per ASTM E84 and NFPA 701, making them suitable for use on occupied structures.

How is the sheeting packaged?

Our sheeting is accordion-folded and tightly rolled on heavy-duty cores and boxed for compact storage and rapid deployment. Bulk pallet orders are available for government and commercial buyers.

Can it be installed by homeowners or only contractors?

While many contractors use our products for rapid deployment, installation is straightforward and can be completed by skilled homeowners with basic tools and rooftop safety precautions.

How is this different from hardware store plastic sheeting?

DPALEX sheeting is reinforced with a scrim core, UV-stabilized, and engineered for extended outdoor use—far stronger and longer-lasting than typical 6-mil poly sold at retail.

Do you offer volume pricing or contract fulfillment?

Yes. We specialize in large, in-stock inventory for immediate shipment and offer volume pricing, contract fulfillment, and agency procurement support upon request.
